Event For June 16, 2007 I will be attending my first Georgia Romance Writer's meeting this Saturday. I will have check in hand to become a member because of course, it was too late to send via snail mail to attend.

In essence, I suppose I'm crashing but I'm sure they won't mind.

When to Show, When to Tell, a workshop designed to help authors make good decisions about this always tricky topic.

For anyone else interested in crashing this meeting and becoming a member, 1st you have to become a RWA member. Luckily, there is an option to fax in membership w/CC number as payment. Then download, print GRW membership form, bring check and hopefully, they will except it at the door.

"Meetings are held in the Hilton Atlanta Northeast in Norcross, unless otherwise noted. Meetings begin at 11:00 a.m. with the ?Ask a Published Author? segment, followed by lunch at 11:30 a.m. Each person is responsible for his/her receipt and payment for your food. Lunch will consist of a rotating menu, consisting of either soup or sandwich, salad, dessert and beverage, tax and tip included. Please keep in mind that even if you choose not to eat, everyone must pay to cover the cost of the meeting space. We?ll have volunteers at the door, so please have your money ready to make their job easy and to keep things moving quickly. Following each meeting, GRW authors (to be announced each month) will sign copies of their latest books at the Barnes & Noble at the Forum on Peachtree Pkwy."
